Your host family Joël (‘1961) the man of the house is
a workaholic but in his free time a real bon vivant, technically
he has a lot of baggage and when travelling is the topic evenings
are just too short. For an excellent glass of wine, you are in
his good hands. Chantal (‘1970) is your hostess, an open spontaneous
culture-minded personality. She loves to spoil and pamper you whenever
she can and she will be your home-guide for a pleasant stay. Be it culturally,
culinary, sporty … in short you will benefit from her diverse qualities
and advice. Kato (‘2002) and Bert (‘2004)
assure a joyful childhood note, the decibels will of course not disturb
you in our perfectly isolated quarters.
We can converse in Flemish, French and English and a few words of German and
Spanish if necessary.
Room: downstairs
You lodge in the downstairs floor of the medieval director’s
residence. Thirty-six square meters of contemporary comfort surround
you and of course an agreeable temperature is assured winter and
summer. Cosiness and style are our master ingredients. A lot of
attention has been focused in the renovations on quality and workmanship.
There is a comfortable rattan sofa bed and double bed, the room
is decorated very tastefully.

In the bathroom you will find a large triangular bath, and a thermostatic
tap with comfort nozzle will also offer you a most agreeable shower,
a toilet, a wash basin. And then to top it all. Once awakened by
the morning light of Ghent you can choose for a romantic breakfast
brought on your bed or on the terrace while you enjoy the dew drops
on a table rose, or take a seat at our country table inside.
